Valencia Community College

The Latest News About, Valencia Community College:
Growth in the number of students at Valencia Community College and Seminole State College slowdown is a sign that the local economy is healing. Historically most people register at the university level is countercyclical to the economy. Since unemployment is higher and more people will go back to school or to increase the number of classes they take. Valencia Community College expected 8 percent growth in the spring 2011 semester registration and lost about 5 percent, said college officials. Seminole State College is expected 12.8 percent growth but on the contrary, probably about 6.7 per cent growth. I hope it's a good sign for the economy said Keith Houck Vice-President for Administration and Chief Business Officer in Valencia. We do not need double-digit growth every year.
